You will be asked a complete and comprehensive health history, including past health problems, diet, exercise, occupation and other information of importance.  Since patterns  of spinal misalignment tend to run in families, you  may be asked questions about your family that may help the doctor with your particular case.  Examination may include palpation  (examination by touch) of your spinal column, x-rays, range of motion, muscle testing, neurological, orthopedic and specific chiropractic tests.  The care you receive will be specifically designed for you based on your history of traumas, your age, and your degree and levels of subluxations as revealed through your examination and x-ray findings.

What Should I bring to My First Visit?

¨       If you already had tests (such as x-rays, MRIs) within the past 3-6 months, bring them and any reports to the Chiropractic Doctor’s Office.

¨       Be prepared to discuss: when the problem started; how it started; how long you’ve had it; what makes the problem worse or better; your past history of injuries and traumas; and any other information you believe is relevant.

¨       Bring your insurance information so that we can find out if your particular plan will contribute to your chiropractic care.

 Your Progress

Your progress under chiropractic care will be carefully monitored.  Your care plan will be modified to meet your changing conditions.  Our goal is to return you to optimal health through natural Chiropractic care.
