Located in in Historic Newtown Pennsylvania, Bagnell Chiropractic Life Centre specializes in caring for the entire family. Special attention and care is given to the mother to be and her family. The environment at Bagnell Chiropractic is one of tranquility and comfort. Decorated in calming pastels, we do not have bright lights, loud machines, or stressed staff members. As soon as you enter our office, you will notice a peaceful and easy feeling in the air.

Drs. Karen & Larry Bagnell have two beautiful children. Both childrens' births were natural, w/o medical intervention and assisted by a loving midwife. The birth of their son was featured on The Learning Channel “A Baby Story”. He was born at home, in a hot tub with the aide of a midwife and his father’s chiropractic touch.

They have guest lectured at The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing on the importance of Chiropractic care during pregnancy, labor and the post partum period. They have also shared their Pre-Natal Chiropractic Expertise at Penn State University for the American Academy of Birthing Centers. For more than seventeen years Drs. Karen and Larry Bagnell have diligently worked and studied the mechanisms of breech and transverse presentations, pregnancy and delivery. They teach their technique, The Bagnell Technique, to chiropractors and students worldwide.

Karen Gardner Bagnell, DC

Dr. Karen Gardner Bagnell is a 1993 graduate of Life College (now Life University) in 1993. Together with Dr. Lawrence Bagnell, she founded Bagnell Chiropractic Life Centre in 1996 to offer the benefits of chiropractic care to the citizens of Bucks County and surrounding areas.

Dr. Karen has had the privilege of assisting at the births of her patients. At the patients’ request, Dr. Karen Bagnell provided chiropractic care throughout labor and delivery. She has also cared for patients at a local birth center on a regular basis. Dr. Karen is frequently invited to write articles for many national chiropractic and midwifery journals to share pregnancy chiropractic care with doctors and midwives worldwide.

She has written two books on Pre-Natal Chiropractic care and has been added to the faculty of Chirocredit Online, LLC teaching pre-natal chiropractic care to doctors on a global scale. Her books can be found in chiropractic schools across North America.

Dr. Karen enjoys organic gardening, reading, writing, photography and cooking in her spare time. A nature lover, she enjoys swimming, hiking, biking, kayaking and geocaching - especially with her family.

Lawrence C. Bagnell, DC

Dr. Lawrence C. Bagnell is a 1991 graduate of Life College and the 1992 Alumnus of the year.

Like Dr. Karen Bagnell, Dr. Larry Bagnell has dedicated his life to healing the body, spirit, and mind. He believes that chiropractic treatment is the most sensible and effective way to treat many common health problems. He also believes in the preventative power of chiropractic care. Dr. Larry can often be herad telling his patients that, "The only thing more expensive than health is disease".

Having had a personal experience with Lyme Disease, Dr. Larry has become quite skilled in caring for his patients also stricken with the disease. His holistic, whole body approach to the disease has helped many people overcome the devastating effects with great success.

An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Larry enjoys participating in many outdoor activities. Whether he is skiing, fishing or geocaching, he particulary enjoys spending time with his family.
